There was a great article in the Evening Standard recently (The rise of the red shoe | Fashion) comparing the British summer in all its dreariness – seriously, the sun rarely shines – to the color beige. The author implores readers to rebel this autumn by wearing red shoes to literally brighten our moods but I think we shouldn’t stop at our feet. For example, I recently bought the Warehouse (Warehouse – Fashion clothing online: Dresses, Tops and Accessories) blouse below which fits nicely into my wardrobe as it can be paired with skirts in monochrome colors and jeans alike.
