I’m always on the look-out for new and exciting fashion websites because the best pieces, in my opinion at least, are the most unique. The Shop Floor Project (http://theshopfloorproject.com/mainmenu.htm) and Young British Designers (Young British Designers – Shop the new generation) are good examples as they feature one-of-a-kind items from emerging designers which you might otherwise be hard pressed to find at a department store. My latest discovery is Boticca (Unique Jewelry, Unique Bags & Ladies handbags | Boticca) which despite selling other accessories is best known for its amazing jewelry inventory. I love that the founders are passionate about exposing talented designers from all over the globe; in fact, the online marketplace was established after a trip to Marrakesh where they listened to the stories of those who sold jewelry in the Medina there. Although Boticca handles the actual transactions and sources the pieces, direct correspondence with the designers is encouraged, enabling them to establish a client base in countries where their goods might not normally be sold.
Below are my favorites – all are available at http://boticca.com/ and some items can be shipped for free. Plus, if you use the voucher code mAbh8gVp at check-out, you’ll receive 10% off your first purchase!!

Hi Goldie,
My name is Nathalie and I work for Boticca. Thank you so much for this wonderful feature! All these designers will be delighted that you chose to include them and their pieces! Whose work did you like the most? Would you be interested in doing a longer feature on them on your blog? Our fashion editor Poppy is also happy to give interviews about working at Boticca, her ‘editor’s pick’ etc. if that is something you would like to have her do on lifestylebygoldie? Do let me know, and thanks once again!

Hi Nathalie,
Thanks so much for your comment and for subscribing to my blog! I spent the better part of yesterday browsing the Boticca website and, in fact, just received the skull neckplate by Jolita Jewellery which I adore. I’m also a big fan of Yael and Tal, Eina Ahluwalia and Toosis along with the amazing Rays of Colour bags from Poupee Couture. I’d love to do a longer piece on one of the designers, especially as I live in London where some of the boutique owners are based. I’ll email you my contact details and please let me know what else I can do for you.
Thanks again, Cheryl
