Eco fashion has come a long way since the early days of tie dye and there’s no better example of its progression than labels like Fair + true. As buyers become increasingly aware and/or concerned about the provenance of their clothes, e-commerce sites such as Fashion -Conscience.com have made it easy to shop without the guilt (or at least most of the guilt!) Fair + true is a fair trade brand whose clothes are made in the UK, Malawi and Kenya with the purpose of supporting local communities. The dress below is one of my favorites as it’s both fashion forward and ethical, ticking two major S/S12 trends – prints and tribal – for £75. Plus, with its structured shape you could easily dress this up for a night out!
