I recently discovered the amazing e-site Caratime.com (http://fr.caratime.com), whose buyers are dedicated to sourcing unusual and often difficult to obtain pieces of jewelry. Although based in France, the site helpfully has an English language option and ships to the UK. Brands stocked include Isabel Marant, Atelier Swarovski, and Delphine-Pariente but I officially fell in love with Sylvia Toledano’s pieces. Originally trained as a fashion designer, Toledano then turned her attention to painting exhibiting her works at galleries and auction sales. A renewed interest in accessories led to a minaudiere project and then a jewelry line, the latter of which often features a mixture of gemstones. All highly wearable, the pieces stand out without overwhelming and the cuffs in particular are like small works of art. I personally love the turquoise designs as they are the perfect accessory for the summertime !
