About me

When I started this blog in December 2010,  my only goal was to provide interesting content but I’ve come to realize that lifestylebygoldie functions as my journal. Growing up, I kept diaries until my extremely boring teenage years in New Jersey and recently decided that now is a good time to resurrect this tradition as I have a lot of interests including fashion, jewelry, photography, and botanical gardens.  (Other weaknesses include heavy metal music, dogs, yoga and sports but there is not enough time in the day to write about all these things!) Given these diverse topics, I use the blog to record thoughts and images which especially come in handy as I sort through all the seasonal trends. One final note is that as an American now living in London, I often refer to websites and shops on both sides of the pond but I think everyone can be inspired by the posts regardless of location. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to leave comments. You can also follow me on Flickr (http://flic.kr/s/aHsjvDEeGz), Twitter (@cheryl_1999) or Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/lifestylegoldie).

p.s. If this blog has a unifying theme it would be Color – with a capital ”C” – as I’m naturally attracted to bright things. So, if your style is minimalist or your wardrobe is full of black items, I suggest you look to another blog! Just sayin’…

    Hi,
I’d like to inquire about purchasing a text link that says something like “Womens Clothes, Shoes, & Accessories – SwayChic” or a small banner ad (130×60) on http://lifestylebygoldie.wordpress.com somewhere on your homepage for our site http://www.SwayChic.com.
    Something like: http://postimage.org/image/h0543kjb7/

We sell womens casual clothing in Berkeley and Los Angeles, Califonia. Currently, we are seeking more exposure. Our budget is around $40/yr. Is this something you’d be open to?
    Regards,
    Jeff

  2. I don’t believe WordPress, which I use to host this blog, allows third party advertisement. Can you tell me how you found my site? I’ll be sure to check out your website and maybe we can do some cross-promotion.
    Thanks for your interest,
    Cheryl
